Without commercials, each episode is ninety minutes long and magically marathoning the series in one go with no rest would take about a week and a half. Frank would then be replaced with Pearl Forrester for the rest of the Comedy Central run for the sake of giving Clayton someone to play off of. While the bots remained part of the show, Hampton Yount took over as Crow, Baron Vaughn took over as Tom Servo, and Rebecca Hanson voiced Gypsy. The first three sentences of that synopsis take up 3/4 of the movie. It’s 80s cheese balled up and thrown into the garbage. Stay for the amazing, old, randy couple who may be the best murder victims in MST3K history. Living in Mike’s apartment, Mike, Servo, and Crow sat down to watch The Crawling Eye while making the same jokes as when Joel and two different-sounding robots watched the same film many years earlier. What follows is a whole lot of judo chopping from vampires and wrestlers alike, as well as a scene where an evil wrestler is unmasked to reveal a werewolf…who starts judo chopping people. The fact that the female lead is also the screenwriter isn’t lost on the SOL crew. Now the younger sister is an insane serial killer and is old as hell. It’s certainly a fun jaunt that ends the series on a playful note. It’s enjoyably silly and the constant jokes about Estevez being the lesser Sheen, as well as every joke about Z’Dar’s catcher mitt face help carry you through the runtime.

In this movie, we get what feels like hours of footage of various Wisconsin yokels enacting their boring subplots while rock-hard spider eggs fall from space and gradually start hatching and, I guess, growing.

After he filmed the footage, the studio decided to dump out the comedic scenes, reshoot to add more straight horror, and hope it would make them money.

Using his gadgets and skills, Diabolik proceeds to steal from the wealthy, screw with the police, thwart fellow criminals, take part in capers that involve the deaths of innocent people, and have lots of sex with his girlfriend/accomplice. The MST3K episode about Werewolf was released in 1998.

This was the first episode for reals this time! Finally, the film’s protagonist (I guess) gets turned pretty late into the runtime and we let that play out. With Mike’s help, Gypsy was able to sneak Joel off the ship, giving him a bittersweet and incredibly cheap goodbye scene. And the Movie: Despite coming off as the usual MST3K black-and-white fare, Revenge of the Creature almost feels too famous for the show. You could always marathon the most popular episodes, but mileage may vary on that. The story behind the movie basically explains everything that went wrong. This led to the first onscreen meeting between the two original hosts, which was perfectly mundane. New or not, they were certain they needed to give it the business. And the Movie: Based on an Italian comic book series, Diabolik is about what is essentially a thief version of James Bond. Makes sense, since Godzilla-types aren’t the kind of monsters that I really associate with Halloween. Gizmonic Institute employee Jonah Heston (Jonah Ray) was lured into the clutches of Clayton’s daughter Dr. Kinga Forrester (Felicia Day) and her sidekick Max/TV’s Son of TV’s Frank (Patton Oswalt) and became their new movie-watching victim. Samson is in fact legendary wrestler El Santo and he does in fact fight vampire women (okay, he fights vampire men and sets vampire women on fire). And the Movie: Frank was a fan of Mexican luchador movies, so they chose this one to go out on. The finale. It deals with a hypnotist/ventriloquist named the Great Vorelli, who has a dummy named Hugo. WHOO!” is almost as priceless as the fact that the movie has the Skipper from Gilligan’s Island as the sheriff. It took well over a year to complete. This irresponsibility causes Tony to transform at the sound of bells and he goes about killing innocent people. I even find Manos: Hands of Fate to be overrated as an episode. Etc.

For one, it’s a sequel to Creature from the Black Lagoon, and that’s like the Zeppo Marx of the Universal Monsters.
